There is no place in the world that is not at risk for some sort of natural disaster. Hurricanes, floods, tornado, earthquakes, and blizzards require emergency prepping. No matter how prepared governments or third parties are, it can take them several days to get to a disaster zone, as we have seen in past emergencies.
NewsWire posted an infographic that details some of the most devastating natural disasters that have occurred in the United States along with some high-level preparedness advice.
It is amazing to me to see the huge fatality estimate for the Galveston hurricane. 6,000 – 12,000 just seems like such a broad range.
